The Golden Agers Bowling for 2009 - 2010 came to an end for the season with roll offs on Wednesday, March 24, 2010. The awards banquet was held after roll offs at the Happy Hours Club with Kaycie’s Roadhouse catering a beef supper.
At the banquet the following awards were handed out to recognize the season’s high achievers. Ladies High Single and Triple were posted by Myrna Pickup with 251 and 671. Men’s High Single was tied up at 281 by Raymond Peterson and Laurie Fafard. Mens High Triple of 715 was rolled by Raymond Peterson. The High Team Standing and the High Team Score for the year was claimed by the team of Laurie and Maureen Fafard, John and Myrna Pickup and Norm Nicholson.
In the Roll Offs held on Wednesday the A side winners were Bob and Pat Gehrke, Bill Larter, Ray Cope and Dwight Strandlund. The A side Runner ups were the John Rygh team with Janice Nicholson, Stan Gatrell, Mary Dyke and Lloyd Lovequist. The B side Runner ups were Bud and Deanna Lerat, Alice Brown, Doreen Reiger and Elaine Strandlund.
The Golden Agers League will start up in the fall again.
