STARS dispatched to highway car crash

A Saturday morning car crash has left one person dead and three others in hospital.

Members of the Indian Head RCMP and Grenfell Fire Department responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 1, just west of Grenfell.

There were four occupants in the vehicle, two of whom were transported by EMS to the Wolseley Hospital and one who was air lifted by STARS to a hospital in Regina.

A 65-year-old woman visiting from El Salvador, was declared deceased at the scene.

An RCMP Traffic Re-constructionist was on the scene of the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
