Whitewood couple killed by train

Broadview - An elderly couple from Whitewood were killed when their car collided with a train on Sunday, November 9th.
Broadview RCMP responded to the accident at 12:20 p.m. in the town of Whitewood.
The southbound car was struck by the train as it was crossing the railway tracks.
Ninety year old Alfred Pritchard and his eighty-six year old wife, Florence Pritchard were pronounced dead at the secne.
The railway warning beacons and stop arms were in operation at the time of the collision.
The Broadview RCMP are still investigating and there were no reported injuries to anyone on the train at this time.
