Grenfell -

Kids in Grenfell will soon get a chance to show off their carpentry skills and give mother nature a helping hand at the same time.
The Grenfell Wildlife Foundation is putting on a Birdhouse Building Workshop that will enable kids 12 years old and under to make their own functional birdhouses.
Kids don't need to bring a thing except their own two hands and their imaginations, as all paint and building materials will be supplied for them. The kids will still be able to bring the finished product home, however.
The workshop will be held at the Grenfell Community Hall on Saturday, May 2, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Anyone wishing to participate in the Birdhouse Building Workshop is urged to pre-register by April 29. Registration can be completed by contacting town administrator Suzanne Hawkshaw at 697-2218 in the evenings.
